DAIWA GRANDWAVE GW 56XHFD ELECTRIC ROD

The Daiwa Grandwave rod series has hit a new peak in performance and design in 2018. The Daiwa Grandwave rods now features X45 BIAS Wrap technology through the entire blank with its cross directional wrapping method eliminating rod twist and distortion when under load.

The result is an ultra-strong, lightweight blank with maximum function and power. Power and control are further enhanced with a new Winn Grip foregrip, providing optimum connection and control between the angler and the rod, whilst a new bent butt section makes the Daiwa Grandwave rod more user friendly in and out of the rod holder and gimbal.

Due to immense pressures placed on the rod when Dendoh fishing, the Daiwa Grandwave series has been constructed from the strongest materials available, and these combined with Daiwa’s unrivalled designed technologies have given rise to the ultimate dendoh fishing rod. The Daiwa Grandwave 56XHFD model is rated for 80–120lb braided line, perfectly matched to our Daiwa Tanacom 1000, Daiwa Tanacom Bull 500, Daiwa Tanacom Bull 1000 or Daiwa Seaborg 1000 reels. Best suited to water up to 500 metres deep. This is the ideal model for heavy-duty reef fishing. The rod’s short detachable bent butt also makes it perfect for trailer boat fishing or stand-up fishing on the reefs.

The Daiwa Grandwave 511HFD is the most versatile model in the range with the ability of fishing 60-150lb line. Ideal for big and small boats and is best suited to depths of 150-600m. Matching perfectly with the Daiwa Tanacom 500, Daiwa Tanacom 1000, Daiwa Seaborg 800MJ Megatwin or Daiwa Seaborg Megatwin 750 reel. This is the one rod to cover both the heavy and light deep dropping situations.

The Daiwa Grandwave 66XHFD is the ultimate heavy-duty deep-water rod capable of fishing up to 200lb braided line and is best matched with the Daiwa Tanacom, Daiwa Tanacom Bull, Daiwa Seaborg 1000 or the Daiwa Marine Power 3000 reels. Its long detachable bent butt is designed specifically to being fished directly out of the rod holder and is ideal for fishing the deepest darkest water.
